Useful resources to improve your spanish

You probably already know that one of the keys to mastering a new language and consolidating your knowledge is to practice it as much as you can, familiarizing yourself with its structures, vocabulary and, not least, the sound of the language you are learning.

Since it is not always possible to have someone nearby to practice with, a very good option is to dedicate yourself on your own to immerse yourself in the language, through reading, series, music or any other means within your reach that brings you closer to Spanish and keeps you in touch with it.

Nowadays there are many resources available for the Spanish learner, in a multitude of formats, so learning while having fun is now easier than ever. Let’s take a look at some of those resources that will take your fluency to another level.

Books for everyone

Even from your first steps in the language, you will find entertaining readings that will be very useful. The Instituto Cervantes offers publications for A1 and A2 level students, such as Leyendas or Ruidos en el adosado. If you know English, another good option is Short Stories in Spanish, by Olly Richards, which can accompany you up to B1 or B2 level. From there, the options multiply!

Of course, there are also tools that are more clearly oriented towards study and consultation, somewhat less entertaining but much more effective for mastering Spanish. On the one hand we find applications (to translate, conjugate verbs and many other utilities) and on the other hand something that cannot be missing: good dictionaries to keep learning new words.
